FIRST LEGO League in Slovakia
(English summary)
FLL in Slovakia is organized by Children of Slovakia Foundation (Nadácia pre deti Slovenska), under the umbrella of the association that coordinates FLL in Central Europe - Hands on Technology situated in Leipzig. Slovakia has three tournament sites - one in the western part of the country (Bratislava, where the tournament is organized by the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University in cooperation with the associations Robotika.SK and Slovak Society of Electronics), one in the eastern part of the country (Košice, organized by the Department of Industrial Technology and Robotics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University in Košice), and from 2010 also in central Slovakia, in Banská Bystrica, organized by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University.
The patronage over the contest is held by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of Slovak Republic. The international round V4 in the year 2010 took place in Bratislava and it was organized by the Children of Slovakia Foundation. The regional tournament in Bratislava was supported by the Bratislava Self-Governing Region.
The contest is supported by the company Peter Cvik - EDUXE and the association P-Mat.
Sponsoring partners now and in the past were Anasoft, Microsoft, Dell and Foundation Pontis, Lucka, Health Management Academy, Siemens, s.r.o. - IT Solutions and Services, and SOS electronic, distribution of electronic components.

In 2008, we held the first pilot tournament in Bratislava, where 10 teams from Slovakia participated.
In 2009, 11 teams participated in the tournament in Bratislava, and 12 teams in the Kosice tournament.
In 2010, 43 teams (13 in Banská Bystrica and Košice and 17 in Bratislava) participated.
